ABOUT:
Gummerman was trained classically from a young age.  After being exposed predominately to classical and religious music, he started incorporating many other styles into his playing from jazz to indie/rock to pop.  Many diverse playing environments broadened his musical creativity into the unique and exciting style he now writes.  Having a piano around more than anything else led to it being the main instrument in the majority of his songwriting.  He currently writes, performs, and records all his music in his home, with guest musicians appearing on various songs.
